The Best of 2011
It is hard to believe how fast this past year has gone by. I had a busy year cooking, crafting and just being a momma to two great boys. It was full of ups and downs, and there really was never a dull (or quiet!) moment in our home. I enjoyed sharing the great new recipes, crafts and projects that were a success here on Pie Birds. There were definately some lulls in posting when life got too busy, but I tried to make up for those during the days I had more time to share. My youngest son, Ethan, who you frequently see in the pictures, was my little cook this year. He loved to help me create, and of course, eat! My oldest son, Jack, started kindergarten this year, and has traded his apron and wooden spoon for video games :)
Pie Birds, Buttons, and Muddy Puddles really grew in 2011 as it reached over 200 followers and over 250,000 page views. The growth of my little blog prompted me to register a domain name as piebirds.org and create a facebook fan page. Pie Birds also got a facelift and fun new look designed by a friend I made this year, Kira.
I would like to thank you for your support, comments and feedback. I am looking forward to another year ahead and hoping you are all coming along for the ride.
And now a look at the Top Five Posts of 2011 here on Pie Birds:
