Cinnamon Butter just like Texas Roadhouse

Okay, I will admit firstly that I have never eaten at Texas Roadhouse. But I have heard great things about it and if I ever get the chance to eat there (without my son who is allergic to the peanuts they serve and the shells that get thrown all over the floor) you can be sure I will be excited about eating their rolls and cinnamon butter.

When my friend Rachel was visiting I wanted to make something special for breakfast one morning and decided on pancakes with cinnamon butter. It was delicious. We all loved it. I think this cinnamon butter would be great on biscuits too.

I ended up slightly adapting a recipe I found on food.com after looking at several different recipes. You can make this in a food processor or by hand.

Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Butter

1 stick of unsalted butter, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup of light brown sugar
3 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Combined all ingredients well and chill for about 10 minutes before serving.

Enjoy on just about anything - rolls, biscuits, muffins, or pancakes!
I have already made this twice in the past month. It is THAT good.

  1. We go to Texas Roadhouse a few times a year, and the cinnamon butter is SO yummy (especially with those hot and fresh rolls they bake)!

I HATE the peanuts on the floor at the restaurant though. It drives me crazy, and I never even considered how it would affect those with a nut allergy. In this day and age of nut-free schools, you'd think they'd discontinue that!

At least you can have all the cinnamon butter you can eat in the comfort of your own home, right? They never give you enough at the restaurant, anyway! ;)
