Growing up I was taught the value of a handwritten thank you note. Did you know
a lot of people don't do this anymore? I am surprised how few people actually take the time to write thank you notes. It means so much to me when I get one from someone. For all my kid's birthdays I try to be "creative" in writing their thank you cards to the special people in their lives who helped make their birthday extra special. Ethan's 2
nd birthday just passed and we made these thank you notes. I think they came out cute.
My favorite way to do a kid's thank you note is to make a small sign that says "Thank You" and take a picture of them holding the sign. I glue the picture onto a blank white card and write a personal note on the inside, and of course have them sign their name if they are old enough or color a little on the inside.

All you need are blank note cards (Joann's often has these on sale for 40% off), a glue stick, and pictures of your cutie holding a thank you sign. I prefer to use the 4x6 size pictures and then order however many I need from
snapfish or
walmart.com. I made 12 thank you cards and the cost total was under $5

Another great idea for really little ones who can't hold up a sign is to trace their hands on construction paper and glue them on the front of a card. Feel free to share any other great ideas for kid's thank you notes!
These were super-cute.
